 Rookie Pool
With 12 draft choices in 2008, the Chiefs will have the largest rookie pool to pay their picks this season. According to league sources, Kansas City has the most money to spend in the NFL at $8,221,790. The rookie pool is designed to slot the signings of the draft pick by the position they were selected. The Chiefs will have a difficult task with two first-rounders to sign and the fifth overall pick.

 Dodge Challenger 500
The drivers head to Darlington Raceway for the Dodge Challenger 500 on Saturday night. Last year, Jeff Gordon captured the checkered flag but has yet to win a race this season. Clint Bowyer is fresh off a victory last week as he made a big jump in the latest Sprint Cup standings. Kyle Busch sits in first ahead of Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Bowyer, and Kevin Harvick.  Chiefs Free Agents
The Chiefs and head coach Herm Edwards invited the rookies to attend a camp at Truman Sports Complex. As the team looks to get younger, players were welcomed who did not get selected in the 2008 draft.
