As was first reported Monday morning by 610 Sports Radio's Nick Wright, the Chiefs have re-signed WR Chris Chambers. ESPN reports that Chambers gets a 3-year deal that could be worth as much as $15 million, including $5.9 Million in guaranteed money. The 31-year-old started 9 games for the Chiefs last season, catching 36 passes for 608 yards and 4 TD's. Chiefs team page.
Bannister A Bright Spot in Blowout Loss
Brian Bannister allowed 1 hit over 2 innings in a 14-5 pre-season loss to the Reds in Goodyear, AZ. Kyle Farnsworh struggled, allowing 6 hits and 5 runs over an 1 2/3 innings. 3 other Royals relief pitchers combined to give up 9 runs in the loss.
