The season ending weekend is upon us in the Big 12. This has typically been the weekend of the Big 12 Championship game, but now is the weekend where the league tries to stay relevant in the midst of everyone else's title game. That honor will belong to the Bedlam Game which will determine a Big 12 champ between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
Kansas State meanwhile, can grab a share of the title with a win and an Oklahoma victory.
Kansas State hosts Iowa State Saturday 11am FSN.
Farmageddon returns to Manhattan where the 9-2 Wildcats try to finish off their season with a senior day victory and a second straight bowl trip awaits. The Wildcats are coming off of a bye week, which was much needed for Collin Klein and company. Klein has been banged up down the stretch to the point of very limited practice time but still terrific in game results.
I love the Cats to get their 10th win of the season and finish off a terrific campaign. At the beginning of the year I was hoping for last year's PInstripe Bowl appearance to be a jumping off point for K-State, but didn't really believe it. Credit once again to Bill Snyder who continues to work magic in Manhattan. This time it may parlay into a Cotton Bowl.
K-State 35 ISU 17
Season record 27-5.
Next week, on to basketball. I'll play "what I know, what I don't" for the 3 Big 12 local schools.
