Made you look!!! Aren't you mocked out? I know I am. But I think I've read darn near all of the experts ones and quite a few of the webbies ones too. The only thing I know for sure is that Andrew Luck is going 1.
Where will the Chiefs go at 11? Will they go at 11? The conspiracy theorist in me feels like they will go elsewhere than what we are seeing in the main mocks. I'd be happy with Stanford OG David DeCastro or BC LB Luke Kuechly. I know I really don't want Memphis DT Dontari Poe or a QB.
As for the rest of the weekend, I see no value in mock drafts past pick #5 overall really anyway, but I'd like to see the Chiefs go defensive line, offensive line, cornerback, safety, and running back in no particular order. The old adage of 'best available' player is fine but QB, WR, LB (other than 1) are really not on my wish list.
So, when can one win feel like 10? Wednesday night's Royals vs Cleveland sure felt like it. Ending a losing streak never felt so good. The players needed it, the coaches needed it, the fans needed it (what a great night it was on twitter) and city probably needed it. What a huge weight lifted off of the shoulders at least until the next homestand .. or maybe not that long??
Hopefully we are talking about a 3-14 record then after 3-14. It's my demarcation line. I really don't think this season is going to be one about contending, which is a huge disappointment, but I guess I need to look at small victories again. Sigh.
