Bink 1.0: Chiefs 7 Round Mock

Take A Quarterback First Round

Here is my first look at a Chiefs 7 round mock.  It's 10 picks for the Chiefs this year the most ever for John Dorsey.  I do feel the need for the team to address inside linebacker, running back, defensive tackle and wide receiver.

The draft begins April 27th from Philadelphia

Here is the look at my mock 1.0

1st round pick 27- Patrick Mahomes QB-Texas Tech--Mahomes has been linked to the Chiefs in several drafts however he is garnering attention of several teams.  Good chance he isn't there when the Chiefs pick or they might have to trade up.

Round 2 pick 59-Raekwon Mcmillan ILB Ohio State-The Chiefs must address the inside linebacker position.  Who knows if Derrick Johnson comes back or not or when he comes back.  The Chiefs have whiffed on this position in the past with Nico Johnson but to me they need to throw several darts at this position.

Round 3 pick 91-Anthony Walker ILB Northwestern-First team All Big 10 and led his team in tackles

Round 3 pick 104-Cooper Cupp WR Eastern Washington-This is the 4th pick in the top 104 for the Chiefs and Cupp played IAA but he is the all time leader in yards, receptions and touchdowns

4th round pick 132-D'Onta Foreman RB Texas-had a monster year as he ran for 2028 yards at nearly 250 lbs.

5th round pick 170-Brian Hill RB Wyoming-I could see the Chiefs getting several running backs in this draft-3rd in the nation in rushing at Wyoming

5th round pick 180-Vincent Taylor DT Oklahoma State-13 tackles for a loss with 7 sacks.  Need him for special teams?  Long arms enabled him to block 4 kicks

Round 6 pick 216-Deangelo Brown DT Louisville-can add depth to the D Line rotations

Round 6 pick 218-Channing Stribling CB Michigan.  Have to trust John Dorsey with corners as he has been really good.

Round 7 pick 245-Artavis Scott WR Clemson-might not be there when they pick but could fall

This is my first of several Chiefs 7 round mocks, stay tuned for more.  As always listen to The Day Shift for Chiefs needs in Philly.  Also check out our Chiefs page for plenty of draft breakdowns
