A new player rises to the top spot this week in my Heisman Trophy watch:

1. Saquon Barkley-Last week #2-Made the jump this week to #1 and in my eyes is the favorite, however tough games as Michigan and Ohio State are the next 2 games.  For the season 649 yards rushing with 6 touchdowns. 395 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. He also has a kick return for a touchdown and a passing touchdown.  Biggest win @ Iowa.

2. Baker Mayfield-Last week #1-Slides down after losing to Iowa State at home.  For the season has 1635 yards passing with 15 td's and o interceptions. This week has Texas.  Biggest win @ Ohio State.

3. Bryce Love-Last week #5-Makes a jump this week due to just how good he has been this year.  Leads the nation in rushing with 1240 yards rushing and is the only player in D1 with over 1,000 yards. Has Oregon this week.  Biggest win @ Utah.

4. Luke Falk-Last week #4.  Luke is looking good in this race so far.  Against USC two games ago he set the Pac-12 record for career completions.  This past week he threw for 282 and 3 touchdowns against Oregon.  For the season he has 2000 yards passing with 19 td's and 2 interceptions. This week has Cal.  Biggest win V. USC.

5. Rashaad Penny-Last week not ranked.  Like Bryce love who had to replace Christian Mcaffrey he is replacing Donnel Pumphrey at San Diego State. He had over 1,000 yards last year and this year he is only 7 yards shy of 1,000.  He is the nation's 2nd leading rusher only behind Bryce Love and only 1 of 2 over 900 yards rushing this year. This week he has Boise State.  Biggest win V. Stanford.
