Kansas State runs all over the Bruins putting up 344 yards rushing

2nd straight bowl win for the Wildcats

UCLA got things started first by kicking a field goal but Kansas State would respond for the only touchdown of the first quarter with a 68 yard touchdown run by Alex DeltonSkylar Thompson started the game at QB for Kansas State but Delton came in and gave the offense an early spark and put the Wildcats up 7-3.

UCLA would respond with touchdown passes of 52 and 70 yards by QB Devon Modster to Jordan Lashley and Theo Howard to go up 17-7.

UCLA would take the lead of 17-7 at hafltime.

Kansas State would start things off in the 3rd quarter with a touchdown run of 1 yard by Alex Delton for his 2nd rushing TD of the game making it 17-14.  On the next UCLA drive Denzel Goolsby forced a fumble giving Kansas State the ball right back and Alex Delton would throw an 8 yard touchdown to Dominque Heath to cap off a 4 play 24 yard drive to pull ahead 21-17.

Kansas State would score again with a 41 yard run by Alex Barnes to put the Wildcats up 28-17. Making it 3 straight touchdown drives in the second half.

Alex Delton would then run another touchdown for his 3rd rushing TD of the night capping of a 15 play 98 yard drive and put Kansas State up 35-17.

Even though Skylar Thompson got the start at QB for the Wildcats this game turned into the Alex Delton show as he passed for 52 yards and a touchdown and ran for 158 yards and 3 more touchdowns en route to offensive MVP.  Denzel Goolsby picked up the defensive MVP:
