Kansas State is roling at halftime 51-26 in their quarterfinal matchup with Oklahoma State. Jamar Samuels with 21 first half points as the Cats are +17 in rebounding and closed the half on a 24-3 run.
After a sluggish start, the Kansas Men's Basketball team rallied to pull away from Texas Tech 80-68 in the Quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tourney at Sprint Center on Thursday. MU falls in Big 12 opener
Missouri falls to Nebraska 75-60 to lose in the opening round of the Big 12 Championship as the defending champs. The Tigers shot just 34% and 7-21 from the three point line. Laurence Bowers was the only double figure scorer with 11. Nebraska advances to face Texas A&M.
The Chiefs have signed DT Shaun Smith, a 6 year NFL veteran most recently with the Cincinnati Bengals. Smith played in just four games last season with Cincinnati in his 2nd stint with the Bengals. He also played with Cleveland and New Orleans. Thursday, the Chiefs announced the signing of WR Jerheme Urban, most recently a member of the Cardinals. Check out his bio and profile here. Meche Roughed Up In Loss
Gil Meche gave up 4 runs on 7 hits in 2+ innings of work Thursday, and the Royals lost to the Dodgers 6-4 in Surprise, AZ.
