What's Wright with Nick Wright

Honest. Original. Thought provoking. Those are the three things that I think best describe my show.

I am always honest with my listener. Whether it be saying what I actually believe--not what will necessarily be popular or incendiary--I will always tell you what I truly believe. If there is something I don't know, I will be honest about that and either look it up, or let you know that I don't think it's that important. And I will always be honest about who I am, and how I think, why I believe what I believe.

The show is original because, in all honesty, there is nothing like it on the radio in Kansas City. There are a lot of great programs in this city, and a lot of crummy ones, but there isn't another show in town that allows you to hear one person's opinion (not an argument between two or more contributors), why this person believes how he believes, and how he came upon that belief. I am not saying I am always right, far from it. But it can be refreshing to go into a program knowing you are going to get a solid stance, and you can choose a side of it.

Thought provoking because, honestly, very few people think how I think. This is not necessarily a good or bad thing, in general. But for "WhatsWright", it is a tremendous asset. Because of my background, random life experiences, and just the odd (I wish I could say 'unique' or 'distinctive', but odd is probably the most accurate) way I look at issues, my show usually makes you look at issues in a way you hadn't before, and that can be one of the most thought provoking exercises imaginable.

Oh yeah, and we'll crack a few jokes and try to be pretty damn entertaining as well. Enjoy.
