Chiefs GM gives no hints on #1

Chiefs GM John Dorsey says he continues to explore all options and gave no hint as to who the Chiefs will be drafting next Thursday in the opening round of the draft.  Dorsey, in his pre-draft interview with reporters, says the draft is unique in that it's strong at the offensive line, defensive line, and cornerback positions.  Dorsey did not want to get into specific players although the Chiefs have been projected to be looking at a pair of offensive lineman, Texas A&M's Luke Joekel and Central Michigan's Eric Fisher.

The Chiefs will draft number one overall in Thursday's first round.  Dorsey says he's been on a self imposed media blackout so that he can focus in on what the team's opinions are on the draft prospects and says until the curtain goes up on Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall in NYC he won't have his selection.

Meanwhile, Dorsey says he did give the Miami Dolphins the permission to talk to Branden Albert's agent but not do the "medical thing", clarifying reports earlier about the status of the Chiefs franchised offensive tackle, who was absent from the voluntary minicamp and is the subject of trade rumors.
