LB Derrick Thomas is once again a finalist for the pro football hall of fame for the 5th straight year...I think he will make the hall but I don't know about this year. Scott Pioli seems to be everyone's choice for GM .....I hope that whatever Clark is doing out of his Dallas office he gets it done soon....The big question will be whether or not Herm survives the fallout. Baseball season is right around the corner and Royals FanFest is back for its 2nd year at the Overland Park Convention Center Jan 17th and 18th. I encourage everyone to come out to this event as its a wonderful time for everyone. I plan on taking Savanna this year to enjoy the fun. Speaking of the Princess,,,I've gotten quite a few emails asking how she is doing...Savanna is a walking, talking, laughing, smiling miracle who I am very blessed and proud of. Last year at this time was very difficult for me. My wife and I go to the Dr's office for a routine pregnancy checkup. Our lives would never be the same. Some people say things happen for a reason....well most of you know I am a very spirtual person. I believe the 3 month premature birth of my daughter Savanna was meant to bring out the PURPOSE in our lives. Savanna was born at 1pd 15oz and dropped to 1pd 9oz in the first day. She wasnt given much of a chance. But with GODs grace and the wonderful staff at the St Lukes N.I.C.U. and the March of Dimes my Princess was able to celbrate her 1st Birthday!!!! So you ask what is the purpose??? First to show people that Miracles do indeed happen. Second...To shine a light on something that I never really knew anything about....Prematurity.. With your help we have raised over 5,000.00 to help the N.I.C.U. and the March of Dimes. We have raised over 336 articles of preemie clothing for the families in the St Lukes N.I.C.U. We have been able to provide dinners to the families currently in the N.I.C.U. and we have been able to start our own foundation Savannas Soldiers to help families dealing with life in the N.I.C.U.
